DR.KCW BHASKAR RAO'S PROFILE

Dr. K.C.W. Bhaskara Rao, the 5th child of Sri Katumala Vajram and Smt Kanakamma, is born in an orthodox Christian family. His Parents worked as Government Teachers and slept in Christ.

Dr.KCW Bhaskara Rao did his M.A., (Master of Arts) in English Literature and B.L., (Bachelor of Law) at Andhra University. He did LL.M., (Master of Law) at Nagarjuna University. He obtained D.D.(Doctor of Divinity) and Ph.D., (Doctor of Philosophy) degrees from IICM(International Institute Of Church Management).

At the age of 22 years he started his career as lecturer in English and continued as lecturer for 10 years. In the year 1977, Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission selected him as a Group-I Gazetted Officer. He got selection as a Christian on merit basis. He worked as a District level officer in various districts of the state of Andhra Pradesh and acquired excellent reputation with his outstanding performance and retired from Government service as a Grade-1 State level Gazetted officer on 31-12-2003.

His wife, Smt Vijaya Sundara Kamala Pushpam is the daughter of Reverend Boddu Israel. She is an M.A, B.Ed; and worked as Head-Mistress of P.S.M. Municipal High School Bhimavaram and retired from service in the year 2005. They have been blessed with four children- Sons Suresh and Surendra settled as Engineers and daughters Suneetha and Surekha Who are double post graduates settled as house wives.

For his thesis on “CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP TODAY”, Dr. K.C.W. Bhaskara Rao has been awarded Ph.D., degree. Being a double post graduate with double doctorate degrees, Dr. K.C.W. Bhaskara Rao is a good orator and an excellent writer in English and in Telugu. 

At Present Dr. K.C.W. Bhaskara Rao is preaching the word of God in English and in Telugu in many Christian Congregations. Having been appointed by the government of Andhra Pradesh as Chairman of The Bhimavaram Co-operative Urban Bank, he is rendering free service. As Chairman of the Bhimavaram Agustana (Mission) Hospital, he is taking active steps for its revival and development.
